Enabling drivers with more control of the fulfillment process
In effort to clearly indicate all actions that a driver must complete during the fulfillment of an order, we updated the driver app UI to a task based design. Each major action that a driver needs to take will be a task, and minor actions relating to the task will be a subtask.
This will minimize commander confusion on what action they needed to take next. Additionally, it allowed Airspace commanders to have more flexibility to complete tasks in an order in a more flexible format.
These tasks will be exposed to the operations team so that they can take appropriate action on each task – which varies greatly depending on the task type and means of completion that the driver took.
